David Storm

David Storm began picking in 1984 and became a locksmith the same year. He began teaching seminars in 1985 to members of the Bujinkan Dojo. 
He founded picklocks.com in 1998. He and Jim Reed began selling lockpicking tools made by Southern Ordinance at gun shows across the United States.
In 2000 David authored the first DVD ever produced on lockpicking called Lockpicking for the New Millennium. 
In 2010 he authored another video titled Lockpicking Declassified which included a credit card lockpick kit.
In 2014 David joined the YouTube Community and uploaded his instructional videos to share with fellow locksport enthusiasts.
In 2018 David and Jim launched a successful Kickstarter for SWICK which took longer than expected but finally came to fruition in early 2021.
David seeks to continue his tradition of bringing unique, innovative designs and instruction to the locksport/locksmithing community.

Jim Reed

Jim has been working in the world of lock sport since 2000.
He has pursued a career as a machinist for the last sixteen years to further his knowledge in both manufacturing and tooling.
Jim’s other hobbies include gaming and improv.
He lives with his family and three idiot dogs in Ohio.

Christina Palmer

Christina has been picking locks, teaching lock picking, and designing lock picks since 1975. 
She advocates using principles of mechanical design including Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and finite element analysis to minimize stress concentration for greater pick durability, and continually strives to improve the industry.
